Improvement of the surroundings of Vilkmuiza lake, I stage

The city of Talsi is unique not only with nine hills, but also with two lakes, but none of them has a public swimming place. The aim of the project is to create a freely accessible and landscaped area which could be safe and meets modern requirements.

It is planned to improve a part of the existing walking path, by expanding it, to install lighting with LED lamps – solar batteries, also to create an area that will complement the opportunities for physical activities – with beach volleyball, swimming for adults and children. A particularly safe swimming pool will be created for children – a children’s pool with a certain depth in the pontoons placed in the lake. It is also planned to install a dressing room.
